During the summer, Reisa offers endless possibilities for exploring this unique area. Warm, stable weather, midnight sun, and various landscapes will satisfy everyone, from active, sporty adventurers to people seeking silence, quietness, and relaxation. We provide, among other activities, riverboat trips deep into the magical Reisa National Park.

Riverboat trip

Mollis waterfall

We set off from Saraelv on our traditional riverboats and go 20 km up the Reisa River into the Reisa National Park. We will be passing many beautiful sights. We stop by the mighty waterfall called Mollisfossen to take some pictures and maybe to test the water temperature – if you are brave enough. We also make a fire to enjoy coffee, lunch and snacks and a few good stories from our 77 years of riverboating. Water-resistant clothes can be a good idea to bring with you, as well as a camera.

RIVERBOAT TRIP

IMO WATERFALL

We set off from Saraelv and head up the river into the Reisa National Park.
We drive past the mighty Mollis waterfall and head up as far as we can go
by boat. From there, we start a 4-hour hike further up into the wild valley to another great waterfall, the spectacular Imofossen!
This can be a challenging hike, so this is not for everyone. You can also choose to go canoeing down to Saraelv when we are finished. Water resistant and windproof clothes can be a good idea to bring with you.
